Just in time for Saint Patrick’s Day, Aamir Malik, also known as Paktuckia, brought Irish tunes to Dead Beats Sessions, a music session held in the Herald/Review’s newspaper morgue. Malik is a songwriter and always had a passion for music. In the session, listen to him perform three originals and answer a series of questions, giving detail on how he ended up playing Irish music in Cochise County. Catch his upcoming performances this weekend at Tell Mama and Landmark Cafe. 10:30 pm at Tell Mama and the following afternoon at Landmark.
