SIERRA VISTA - Refreshing rains over the past two days have nearly washed several folks away.
"When we came home last night it was running down my road like a river," said Hereford resident Ollie White, who lives on Hargis Ranch Road.

The high waters became a problem around 5 p.m. Friday.
The Fry Fire District performed a swift water rescue at Escapule Wash off Escapule Road during Friday evening's storm surge, Fry Fire Capt. Mark Savage said.
Rescuers pulled a woman from her pickup truck, which was submerged up to the truck's cab, said Carol Capas, a spokeswoman for the Cochise County Sheriff's Department.
The county's Search and Rescue volunteers assisted with the rescue.
"Don't drive into a wash if its flowing," Savage strongly advised as the heavy rains keep threatening.
Around the same time Friday night, a woman, an infant and a toddler were imperiled by swelling waters at Lazy Y 5 road off Moson Road.
Capas said county road department vehicles in the area used a backhoe to lower a sheriff's deputy over the sports utility vehicle.
The woman and children were then lifted to safety in the scooper of the backhoe.
Moson Road was closed from Ramsey Road to Highway 90 until about 1 a.m. Saturday.
As of 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Moson Road at Highway 90 was again shut down, as was Charleston Road at Moson and Escapule at Moson, according to Sheriff's Department dispatchers.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety responded at about 9 a.m. Saturday to a vehicle rollover at milepost 341 on Highway 92 after a Toyota Camry hit a 21/2-inch-deep patch of water running across the road.
Sheriff's deputies on scene indicated a man, woman, toddler and infant en route from Tucson to Naco were transported by ambulance to Sierra Vista Regional Health Center emergency room with unknown injuries, Capas said.
In Sierra Vista, a vehicle got stuck on Calle Portal in running water between Bluebird Drive and Quail Run.
The road was then blocked to traffic indefinitely at about 4 p.m., said Sgt. Daryl Copp of the Sierra Vista Police Department.
Capas said the Sheriff's Department also relayed a call to Sierra Vista police regarding two kids who were hanging from branches at Calle Portal, but added that it wasn't certain whether the kids were playing or not.
A Saturday rollover on Davis Road didn't cause injuries, but was likely a weather-induced incident, Capas said.
The Sheriff's Department on Saturday afternoon reported flash flooding at Kansas Settlement, Nicholas Road in the Willcox area, Pomerene Road in the Benson area, and Sybil Road near St. David.
